Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty
The Mental Capacity Act itself states that all people working in care must have some understanding of this Act. This course will give that basic understanding. It also includes the issues relating the Deprivation of Liberties and the associated safeguards. It will demonstrate how to keep the service users’ “best interest” at the forefront of decisions made when they do not have capacity.
